There are 3,000 people at a concert. You survey a random sample of 200 people and find that for 35 of them this is the first concert they have ever attended. Estimate how many total people are attending their first concert that night

35 people out of 200 were attending there first concert. Based on the information given from this survey, the first step you would take in solving this problem is dividing 3,000 by 200. 3000/200=15. Now, all you have to do is multiply 15 by 35 to find how many people in total are attending this concert. 15 (35) = 535. About 525 people were attending their first concert out of 3,000 people that night.

Uh oh, spelling error with numbers lol. 15 (35) = 525, not 535. Sorry
