If an oxygen atom is 16 times more massive than an hydrogen atom, how much more massive is the "amount" of oxygen separated from any amount of water than the "amount" of hydrogen?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Each molecule of water yields 2 atoms of hydrogen and 1 atom of oxygen. So the ratio of the amount of oxygen to hydrogen is 8:1. That is amount of oxygen is 8 times more.
