If m varies directly as the square root of y, inversely as p^2, and inversely as n, what happens to m when y is quadrupled, p is tripled, and n is multiplied by 2?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Varies directly, means whatever happens to one happens to the other. --If y is quadrupled, the square root of 4y would have you multiplying by 2. --n is tripled, so you multiply by 3 Varies inversely means you do the opposite of the one to the other. --If p is tripled then squared, it makes it 9 times as big as it was, so, inversely you divide by 9. You are left with: m * 2 * 3 / 9 m is multiplied by 2/3

That's not one of my answer choices. ^^' My answer choices are: m is multiplied by 1/9 m is divided by 1/9 m is multiplied by 9 or It stays the same.
