Help? what is x^4/x^3 and y^2/y^2 ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Just x and 1 respectively. \[\frac{ x^{n} }{ x ^{k} } = x ^{n-k}\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

And of course, \[x^{0} = 1\]

OpenStudy (anonymous):

(10x^4y^2/-5x^3y^2) ^3

OpenStudy (anonymous):

thats the original problem

Same approach, y's cancel. You're left with one x on top. And 10/-5 = -2. So you have (-2x)^3. Which is just -8x^3
