hehehe i just figured out (as in like a second ago while i was posting this and playing around with my keyboard!!!!) how to put the sq.rt. symbol! just press alt(option) v !!! :) hehe √ :)

you use the law of cosines to get that, but it sounds like you know what you're doing so that's good
