How many ways can you make a sum with two integers 1..6 that is less than 4? 1+1 = 2 1+2 = 3 Those are the only two combinations, right? How many different ways can you do that by rolling a 6-sided die? Hint: the order matters...

It may help to make a little table showing all of the possible outcomes: First Second Favorable 1 1 yes 1 2 yes 1 3 no 1 4 no 1 5 no 1 6 no 2 1 yes 2 2 no etc. Disregard earlier hint, I was thinking of something else...
