(sin^2x/cosx)+cosx

OpenStudy (raden):

sin^2(x)/cos(x) + cos(x) = sin^2(x)/cos(x) + (cos(x) * cos(x)/cos(x)) = sin^2(x)/cos(x) + cos^2 (x)/cos(x) = (sin^2(x) + cos^2 (x))/cos(x) remember the identity sin^2(x) + cos^2 (x) = 1 so, it is 1/cos(x), and actually it called sec(x)
