and this one 2

OpenStudy (jhannybean):

For the first one,you have points (0,3) and (9,0) . you can use the formula for the slope we just talked about in our last problem \[m=\frac{ y_{2}-y_{1} }{ m_{2}-m_{1} }\] to find the slope.

1 over 3 negative i dont know im confused

OpenStudy (anonymous):

-1/3 and 2/3 . You needed the answer only didn't you? The formula is (y2-y1)/(x2-x1) where the coordinates x1,y1 represent the point where the line cuts x-axis and x2,y2 where the line cuts y-axis

OpenStudy (aravindg):

Are you taking an online test @msellier ? :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The slope can be negative. Since slope= tan(theta) and tan(theta) can be negative, in certain domains. You'll learn it in Trigonometry.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no online question preparing me for test

OpenStudy (aravindg):

oh ok

OpenStudy (anonymous):

?? help still dont get it ???? :/

OpenStudy (anonymous):

What didn't you get? I gave you the answer, like you asked.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh sorry didn't that thanks dude
