What is the equation in point-slope form of the line passing through (0, 5) and (–2, 11)? y – 5 = –3(x + 2) y – 5 = 3(x + 2) y – 11 = –3(x – 2) y – 11 = –3(x + 2)

Help Please.

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

ohh, ahemm, shoot

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

what would the slope for that line?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

now just plug that number, as your slope in the point-slope form, in the picture and just use 1 of the ordered pairs, for it, either (0, 5) or (-2,11), not both, just one and that'd be your point-slope form for it

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So it is b

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

@DeldrickG13 ... it's not 'b' :|

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

sorry I was a bit lagged
