Graphig help urgent please? Medals!
My slope is 300.
X :: Y
0 ::0
1 ::300
2 :: 600
Could some one show me on a graph the slope exactly. It is a slope right?

Right, but what is it, how do you define the slope?

What I am trying to get from you is how you calculate the slope, if you had two sets of points could you get the slope? Do you know the term rise over run?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
no
OpenStudy (espex):
Slope, m, is calculated from two points as \[m=\frac{y_2-y_1}{x_2-x_1}\] more commonly referred to as your rise over your run. This means that if you had a graph and wanted to plot the slope, you could take the difference in your y coordinates to tell you how far up you go and the difference in your x coordinates to tell you how far over you go between points.
