Where is the median in this stem-and-leaf plot?
christ i swore i would never answer a "stem and leaf" question a quick google search says "count the entries" i count 22
i got 25
no not 25
the numbers on the left represent the tens place
25 29 30 31
the data is \[10,12,12,12,15,16,21,23,...\]
so there are 22 entries now it is annoying that 22 is even, because there is no "middle number" so count to the eleventh and twelfth entry, then take the average
the eleventh is 28, the twelfth is 30 and their average is 29
omg just a few more!!!! youre AMAZING..............!
just fyi i never knew what a "stem and leaf" plot was until this moment it is not math, it is some math teacher doo doo i hope i never see it again
it doesn't seem worthy enough to get into - such a waste! ugh
google, however, is quite helpful and also fyi i will never, and i mean never, answer another "stem and leaf" question
hhahaha deal!!!!!
unless, of course, you have one...
Which type of data graph best fits the following description? A survey of residents in a small town was done to determine how many times per month the residents thought they would use a new bike/hike trail if it were built. Responses were grouped by categories of 5. Stem-and-leaf plot Histogram Circle graph Box-and-whisker plot
awwwwwwww.....sweetest thing ever.
ok you need to post this afresh, because i honestly have no idea what a "box and whisker" plot is. sounds like cat food if i were to make a guess, i would say "histogram" but i don't want to be wrong, so go ahead and repost
definitely not "circle graph" and i don't know what use a "stem and leaf" is good for
