1) I'm not so sure on this, either. It's kind of outside of my field, but from what I've read, I'd agree with your answer (A). Education is one of the main pieces of the HDI, along with Health and Living Standards. 2) That's right, it's Group B. A lot of those factors are often associated with a developed nation with a sound infrastructure. 3) I'd probably go with (C) India. China is already the second largest economy in the world having pushed past Japan (and Japan doesn't even have half a billion people, but China and India easily do). 4) I agree with (B), good job! The decentralization of its economic controls and its still high reliance on coal are tipoffs on which country it is looking for. 5) It sounds like a good answer, but I'd probably lean towards (C). Totalitarian regimes may not distribute the wealth of the country evenly, or efficiently, and the lack of arable farmland in harsh climates can also be a contributing factor. This is a tough question.
4.C
okay for #1 :) or could it possibly be B? ;/ what do u think?
Nope, pretty sure that it's education. I did a quick check here: http://hdr.undp.org/en/statistics/hdi/
okay for the rest! Thanks!! :) okay also for the last one, so C is the answer that makes the most sense though? :)
ahh i see :) kk for #1 :)
I think it does, but (A) also has some factors that contribute to why a developing nation is having problems. But for a more direct reason, I'd probably go with (C). It's a tricky one that I'm also not so sure on.
okay! sounds good :) thanks!! :)
Yay!
