OpenStudy (anonymous):

Could someone make these Spanish sentences fluent if they are not yet? Yo ducho frecuentemente en una semana. Me ducho en la noche. Me ducho en mi cuarto de baño. Yo ducho para sentirme mejor.

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

me is reflexive and what is your infinitive?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yo?

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

yo is the subject meaning the action is done by the first person. that's the "I" in english

OpenStudy (anonymous):

So the correct version would be... Yo ducho frecuentemente en una semana. Yo ducho en la noche. Yo ducho en mi cuarto de baño. Yo ducho para sentirme mejor.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

If that is correct then awesome. :)

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

ya assuming that your infinitive is duchar

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is bathroom right "de baño"?

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

I shower in my bathroom?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

something like that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I had to create some weird sentences for this project

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

Me ducho en la baño.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

That is what I wrote in the beginning.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry, mistake I thought that was noche

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

it's appropriately written as YO ME DUCHO

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ok, do I write that for all of them?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Is there somewhere you are getting information? I just need to know some base rules in sentence formation and grammar

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

you take a shower in the evening? it's more appropriately written as I TAKE A SHOWER EVERY EVENING Yo me ducho todas las noches.

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

I think the important part is the conjugation with REGULAR verbs ending in -AR such as duchAR, the yo form will be to take the AR and change it to O

OpenStudy (anonymous):

II just need the sentences to be different. The first one, I was saying that I take showers frequently every week. The second one has to be when I take showers.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I use spanish verb charts for the conjugation

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

what is "sentirme"?

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

don't use those charts because you will not learn anything if you relied on them.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I try to remember but I still have to use them once in awhile.

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

it's mostly a pattern with regular verbs, and a few memorizations with irregular verbs

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sentirme means feel

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Do you think that the sentences don't make sense in Spanish? Maybe there is a better way of saying them.

OpenStudy (nincompoop):

it goes with INFINITIVES so the infinitive verb is TO FEEL , which in spanish is SENTIR the ME in sentirme indicates that it's a reflexive your sentences are alright

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok :) Thank you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Yo me ducho frecuentemente en una semana. Yo me ducho en la noche. Yo me ducho en la baño. Yo me ducho para sentirme mejor.
