Help
I have a question. <How are antibodies made in active immunity.>
@InYourHead @thomaster Can you help?
is that the actual question you were given?
yeah. that is the question. why?
the immunological system is responsible for the creation of anti-body as a response to an exposure or when an antigen is induced. the active immunity is a direct result of that exposure.
So, in the active immunity antibodies are produced by an exposure (such as as vaccination) or when an antigen is induced?
active vs passive immunity it is active when there's a direct exposure. while passive is when it is when the exposure is came from transplacental (i.e. from mother to young by milk) or by immunization (the heap-B, and other vaccinations)
so was i right? or was i a bit off?
you're right also, because it can also be active with vaccination. though there are two different ways of artificial active immunity. active: immunization (vaccination) with some product derived from the infectious agent (e.g. toxoid, killed cells, structural components of cells, inactivated or attenuated viruses, etc.) passive: injection of immune serum from an individual previously immunized or recovered from disease, i.e. hepatitis; injection of serum from an animal hyperimmunized with tetanus toxoid
