HELP!!!?????????

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well this is so easy my friend what you must make sure you do first just before you even answer the question is to make sure you write the general equation of the straight line which is y=mx + c where m is the gradient or slope of the line and c the y-intercept so we have \[y =\frac{ 1 }{ 2 }x -2\] as the equation of the line if you simply substitute the value of x=4 into it you should get the value of y=0 okay?

thanks!!!!
