OpenStudy (anonymous):

what is sin^-1(sin(5pi/3)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I am assuming that the sin^-1 means arcsin. The arcsin of a sin x is just x. Therefore the answer will be 5pi/3

OpenStudy (noelgreco):

Do you know the value of sin (5pi/3)?

OpenStudy (noelgreco):

That would be correct, Steve, if 5pi/3 were in the domain of arcsin . It's not
