"Figurative language is a word or phrase that departs from everyday literal language for the sake of comparison, emphasis, clarity, or freshness."

"Dialogue: a conversation between two persons."

I believe metaphorical discourse, is when people are using many metaphors.

"The action or process of talking about something, typically in order to reach a decision or to exchange ideas."
