Prove: cos^3x + cosx sin^2x = 1/secx Just the answer and the steps to get it, please.

OpenStudy (loser66):

factor cos out, the part left in the bracket =1 and get the answer

Parth (parthkohli):

Correct. Use the fact\[\dfrac{1}{\sec(x)} = \cos(x)\]

Parth (parthkohli):

@Loser66 Ehh?

OpenStudy (loser66):

to a person whose smartscore is high like you, I am jeeeeaaallllous to give you medal, hehehe

Parth (parthkohli):

lol, SmartScore is just a number. Oh wait, SmartScore is a word.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I love how I wrote "just the answer and the steps" and yet no one just wrote them down. why do you guys have to be so vague? lol

Parth (parthkohli):

Why do you want us to write the whole answer with steps?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

because its easier to understand... obviously.

OpenStudy (loser66):

we give you the steps by guiding you "factor cos out" and you have to do it. then a formula to do after factor to replace . and you have to do it, too the answer right after then. you didn't do anything, didn't practice anything , so, understanding for what purpose? for the sake of "understanding" , you must move your precious hands to do something.

I have like 11 assignments to figure out, in a span of 3 days. So excuse me if I'd rather actually get help than confuse myself.
