A bag contains 8 white marbles, 5 blue marbles, and 3 red marbles. What is the probability of choosing a white marble, not replacing it, and then choosing a red marble? PLEASE HELP :*(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The probability of choosing a white marble the first time you pick one is 8 out of the total number of marbles. The probability of choosing a red marble, after choosing a white one, is the number of red out of the total number of marbles that are still in the bag ( remember you already took out a white one so there is one less marble). Then just multiply the probabilities together to find the probability of both happening.

so the answer would be one tenth?
