Which of the following describes one effect the United States' entrance into World War II had on minority groups? increased job opportunities for African Americans lessening of the immigration restrictions for Japanese citizens reduction in racial tension between whites and Mexican Americans decreased job opportunities for women who were needed at home

Let's look at the answers one by one B -> no, because that would make no sense. The US was at war with Japan in WW2, and were very suspicious of Japanese-Americans, fearing they were spies C -> no, because the racial tension actually remained the same, and actually increased D -> no, because women were needed for jobs during the war because there were not enough workers, as many of them were soldiers and were deployed With that being said, what does that leave us with?

I would go with A, because they needed a lot of help with work while others were in war.
