Explain why conifers do not grow across the entire state of Alaska
@thomaster Sorry to bother you, I know you're busy with LaTeX and all.. But do you mind helping me with some Bio again? c:
What kind of biomes does alaska have?
We've gone over this A LOT so I should know Cx
It has taiga, boreal, and coniferous. c:
No those are not the biomes i'm talking about :) Taiga is a biome (also called boreal forest) There is 1 other type of biome in alaska
They're all tundra biomes, right?
No they're not tundra biomes, tundra is the biome i'm talking about What do you know about the tundra biome?
Uhmmm, It's a biome that cover the rest of Alaska of then Taiga. I know this because of one of my previous questions. Cx
other than*
yea that's true the center-east of alaska is taiga, west+northcoast are tundra Can conifers grow in trundra biomes?
I don't think so :o
nope it's way to cold over there. The groud on some places is almost always frozen so the trees have no survival change. That's why tundra's have very little vegetation.
Oh, thanks. c: Then I was thinking correctly. Why can't you be my teacher? -_-
I'm serious lol
