jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

hmm I see what you mean now

OpenStudy (vane11):

I found Q1 to be about 18, so I put the answer you see that I chose, but that was before you helped me understand the five-number summary, so now I'm not sure

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

I think Q1 is between and 22.5 like choice B says because there are 12 values below the median (roughly) the first 6 will be below Q1 because the first 6 include the one that's in the 7.5-15 range and the other 5 are in the 15-22.5 range, this means that Q1 must be in there somewhere

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

so you have choice B correct

OpenStudy (vane11):

Ok, Thank you again! I'm kind of regretting taking this math class online now haha

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

yeah it's tough without an actual teacher

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

but the key here is to add up the frequencies (by eyeballing the heights the best you can)

OpenStudy (vane11):

I'll keep that in mind for when I get another question like this
