OpenStudy (anonymous):

a is categorical b and c are quantitative

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a = ratio b = don't know c = nominal

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@laurenbae u should ask others and verify it before leaving !

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok thank you

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

McLove is right about the first part the second part should be nominal (since you basically have 2 names) for part a) ratio for parts b) and c) since you can find differences and ratios

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it wasnt right :(

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

hmm which parts were wrong

OpenStudy (anonymous):

categorical-a Quantitative-b Categorical-C Then a- nominal b-interval c-ordinal

OpenStudy (anonymous):

that was the answer

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

hmm weird, distance is something you can perform math on, so it should be quantitative

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hmmm i dont know >.<

OpenStudy (anonymous):

but thanks any ways

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

yeah same here, I guess I'm way off, sorry

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

np

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol its okay.

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

alright, hopefully these kinds of questions won't come up on the test (I hate trick questions lol)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i told u to verify i was not sure!!

OpenStudy (anonymous):

aha hopefully. but i have to re do another one of those questions to be able to go on to the next topic

OpenStudy (anonymous):

and jim is right about c it is quantitative the given answer in your book can be wrong too

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its an online program so i doubt the answer would be wrong.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

it can be :)

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

nothing is perfect, but most likely we are wrong here (not sure how)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lol hmmm now i have to try to figure out this next one

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@jim_thompson5910 i think we are wrong cause it is given all night stores not one so we have to create categories to analyze it :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

lets try this one LOL maybe it will be easier because i dont understand this at all.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a - quantitative - ratio c - categorical - ordinal b - quantitative - interval @jim_thompson5910 pls verify it not sure this time too

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

you can't order native languages (I guess you could alphabetically), but there's no natural order to them since one isn't more important the other

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

so I'm thinking that's nominal

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

everything else looks right

OpenStudy (anonymous):

blahhh i hate these lol because it doesnt tell me which one is wrong so i could change it

jimthompson5910 (jim_thompson5910):

hmm well you'll have to make do with what you get

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay thanks ill try to do it on my own now lol and see if i can get it right.
