What exactly is, "special" about Paramecium when comparing them to other protists? I remembered talking about them, in class. But I've forgotten, anyone care to give me a brief explanation on what is the difference is? Some other stuff I need checking on: Questions: What makes up the body of fungi? What is the purpose of the hyphae? What is a fruiting body? What is the mass of multiple hyphae called? Answers: Fungal bodies are made up of thread-like structure called hyphae. The hyphae branch out to find and digest food. A fruiting body is the reproductive structure of fungi. The mass of branching hyphae is called a mycelium. Are my answers correct? If not do explain? Am I too vague? Do tell. (Academic question.) Since summer is here, what should I focus on? Or what books I should read, to get ready for Chemistry and Physics?
