OpenStudy (anonymous):

@Mertsj @zairhenrique help!!

OpenStudy (mertsj):

How many balls are in the box?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

6

OpenStudy (mertsj):

How many are red?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3

OpenStudy (mertsj):

What is the probability you will draw out a red ball on your first try?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3/6?

OpenStudy (mertsj):

So you draw out a red ball and you don't put it back. How many balls are in the box now?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

5

OpenStudy (mertsj):

How many of them are red?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

1

OpenStudy (mertsj):

How many red balls did you start out with?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2

OpenStudy (mertsj):

box containing 3 red balls How many red balls did you start out with?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3

OpenStudy (mertsj):

How many did you draw out on the first draw?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

3

OpenStudy (mertsj):

I don't know what to say to help you. There were 3 red balls in the box. You drew out 1 red ball on the first draw. 3-1 = 2. There are now 2 red balls remaining in the box which now contains 5 balls because you drew out 1 ball.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

so 1/5

OpenStudy (mertsj):

There are now 2 red balls in the box.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

okay?
