BODMAS is apparently the Canadian version of PEMDAS, and is as applicable to fractions as it is to any other series of operations.

These are terms that refer to orders of operations, and tell us what gets performed first.

The American version PEMDAS, tells us that operations inside (P)arentheses are to be acted upon first, then (E)xponential values like squares and roots, then (M)ultiplication & (D)ivision, and finally (A)ddition & (S)ubtraction.

The (apparently) Canadian version replaces "(P)arentheses" with "(B)rackets", and "(E)xponents" with "(O)perations"

Oh, I think I skipped over directly answering your question... Apparently the asker is curious as to how the order of operations is performed on fractions, and I responded that operations are performed on fractions in the same order that they're performed on any other mathematical sequence.
