i meant i got 5]
OpenStudy (anonymous):
The average of -5 and 5 is 5?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
yes
OpenStudy (anonymous):
If that's the case then you may want to re-evaluate your arithmetic.
OpenStudy (anonymous):

I'm not being rude. For someone who got to skip a year I'm telling you nicely that your arithmetic is wrong.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
BTW, 12 year olds aren't allowed on this site, you must be 13.
OpenStudy (anonymous):
i understand that, im asking for ur help, because i knoow its wrong @FutureMathProfessor
OpenStudy (anonymous):

OpenStudy (anonymous):
can you just get me instructions on how to get it @FutureMathProfessor

Do it then
OpenStudy (amistre64):
the axis of symmetry is in between the zeros ....
what value is in the center between -5 and 5 ?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
zero
OpenStudy (amistre64):
then that is your axis of symmetry: x = 0
OpenStudy (anonymous):
why thank you ! ;)

spose the zeros were: -3 and 24
how would you find the midpoint, or center, between them?
OpenStudy (anonymous):
@FutureMathProfessor thats all you had to do
OpenStudy (anonymous):
Yup that was it.................
OpenStudy (anonymous):
i guess smh
OpenStudy (amistre64):
add the values and divide in half
-3+24 = 21, 21/2 = 10.5
