How do marine vertebrates (such as fish, and amphibians) breathe in water?
I know gills, right? But I feel like there's more to it then just that.
they get the oxygen from the water.
hydrogen and oxygen, right? Hence \(H _{2}O\) ?

Quel est le problème?
I need a more in depth explanation and a source behind it.
Pouvez-vous m'aider? Bien sur, vous pouvez, vous pouvez toujours lol.
you mean how to gills work? :P
Yeah, something like that lol.
It's works similar to lungs. exept there's water instead of air. The gill surface has capillaries. the oxygen in the water diffuses into the blood in the capillaries.
