How do i memorise inorganic chemical reactions?

OpenStudy (abb0t):

They're generally ionic bonds type reactions, positive attracted to negative, such as \(A^+ + B^- \rightarrow AB\). And for higher coordinate complexes such as octahedral species, like \(MoCl_6\) there maybe 2-4 maybe five types of reactions, the two MAIN ones are dissociative and associative reactions. Which is basically substitution and addition, respectively.

OpenStudy (primeralph):

There is no one way to memorize them. Usually, it's just practice and understanding.

I think that in both organic and inorganic chemistry, we should focus on the reagents of the reaction.
