OpenStudy (mackenzie2013):

Point A is located at (-2, 4). After it is transformed, point A' is located at (2, 4). What could the transformation be? A translation 4 units to the right A rotation of 90° around the origin A reflection in the y-axis A translation 4 units up' There can be more than one answer !

Here is another hint, I already told you that 180 degree rotations flip the signs for both x and y, ie (1,2) rotated 180 degrees becomes (-1,-2). Rotations of 90 degrees are a little different. Ex, a rotation of 90 degrees (always clockwise) changes (1,2) to (2,-1)|dw:1371438101330:dw| You can see that -90 degrees, or 270 degrees changes the point to (-2,1)
