Amino acids is something found in proteins.

Our DNA can code for 20 different amino acids. That means that our cells can put together 20 different amino acids, using our DNA.

Hey I did not know about it until I saw in my book in inorganic biological chemistry we consist of a relative high amount of selenium, and just had to check for references :)
Hopefully I'm going to have more about that next year as I get Biochemistry I - Metabolism and Enzymology.
