Use Pythagorean Theorem to determine which set of sides can be the sides of a right triangle.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

a) 9,13,15 b) 2,4,5 c) 3,5,9 d) 15,20,25

OpenStudy (mathlegend):

I would look for a special triple @MAYSTEPH

OpenStudy (anonymous):

check if \(a^2+b^2=c^2\) if it is true, say "yes" and if it is false, say "no"

OpenStudy (mathlegend):

@MAYSTEPH did you ever hear of a special triple? Called a 3, 4, 5 triangle? If you look at your answer choices there is one answer choice that has these factors. As in one answer is divisble by 3, the second is divisible by 4, and the third is divisible by 5. Can you figure out which it is?
