How did some southerners resist the Brown v. Board of Education decision?
Some organized the “White Citizens Council.”
Some boycotted African American businesses.
Some created more schools for African American students to attend.
Some brought their own cases to the Supreme Court.

Not clear how boycotting A-A businesses would have resisted the BvBoE decision, so that might be my choice. There were further cases brought, some think the WCC was formed as a reaction to BvBoE. In Chicago (not exactly a part of the South) the superintendent of school used portable buildings to make more school space for AA students — but was he doing that to resist (they mostly ended up segregated) or help? No one was very happy about it, whatever the motivation.
