When the products of a reaction have less energy than the reactants: The reaction is exothermic. The reaction is endothermic. The reactants lost internal energy. The change in enthalpy is positive.

A

OpenStudy (anonymous):

just A?

thomaster (thomaster):

@Texastough123 Could you explain? Don't just give answers.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

An exothermic reaction is a chemical or physical reaction that is done by the release of heat. It gives out energy to its surroundings. The energy needed for the reaction to occur is less than the total energy released. the other three need heat too be preformed.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

i tried looking it up, and so far i only got enough explanation to choose A.

thomaster (thomaster):

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well when you use an exothermic reaction the energy needed for that reaction occurs less than the total energy so therefore your using less energy.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

sorry i'm just horrible at chemistry.. lol sorry if i seem really stupid.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

no reneelynn7 your not stupid. somtimes it just takes people time too understand things, your not gonna understand everything the first time its given too you

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Thankyou(: yeah chemistry and math are my worst subjects.. everything else i'm great in. and sometimes i think i'm dumb because i ask the simple questions, but they're harder for me to get. @summerforever21

OpenStudy (anonymous):

well you will get there im not great at math either but i have too remember that im just human and were not perfect and there are no stupid questions in life except for the ones you dont ask :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

hahaha true(: @summerforever21

OpenStudy (anonymous):

good

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I just ask the ones i really can't get. And to alot of people on here they know it and baically make smart remarks lol...
