need some help! Given the equation x2 - y2 = 25, if you rotate the graph of the equation 45° about the origin, what is the new equation

OpenStudy (anonymous):

x^2 + y^2 = 25 if rotating left across origin....unless this is a circle break it down into y= x +/- ___ to see the graph

OpenStudy (anonymous):

its a circle, ould you explain a little more

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ok so the formula of a circle is (x - h)^2 + (y - k)^2 = radius^2...where h & k are the origin of the circle.. Since x and y are alone, the origin of the circle is the actual origin (0,0)....meaning rotating the circle 45 degrees about (0,0) doesn't change anything

OpenStudy (anonymous):

at least not geometrically
