Identify the slope and y-intercept of the graph of the equation. Then graph the equation y = -5/4x + 1 help not very good at graphing

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

the exponent for the variables is 1, not like \(y^2\) or \(x^2\) so, is just a line to plot it just pick 2 values for "x", get your "y" from that and draw a line through the 2 points

OpenStudy (anonymous):

A. slope: -5/4; y-intercept: –1 B. slope: -4/5; y-intercept: 1 C. slope: -5/4; y-intercept: 1 D. slope: -4/5; y-intercept: –1 two of them look the same to me

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

one has an intercept is 1 another of -1

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I had b an it was wrong

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

well, from the picture above, what's the slope and intercept?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I have never been good at graphing an the pic you sent says slope y=mx+b an the y-intercept

OpenStudy (jdoe0001):

o, is just a line to plot it just pick 2 values for "x", get your "y" from that and draw a line through the 2 points
