Help.....somebody need to tell me how this answer is not 10 ????

OpenStudy (mertsj):

Would need to see the problem in order to do that.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I can't figure it out.... https://www.pfrsolutions.com/WDSImages/SB/HrlyQuestion21_F.png

OpenStudy (mertsj):

What is the question?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

you have to fill in a number where the question mark is......it is supposed to be some pattern. The answer choices are listed

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I thought it would be 10....but that is not even an answer choice

OpenStudy (mertsj):

I guess I would say 80

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how did you get that or is that just a guess ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I can't see the pattern where the answer wouldn't be 10

OpenStudy (mertsj):

If you go counterclockwise, you multiply by 2 each time. Then if you go clockwise, you multiply by 4, divide by 2, multiply by 4

mathslover (mathslover):

That's actually weird one... 10 would have been a better solution, I suppose :9

mathslover (mathslover):

*:(

OpenStudy (anonymous):

ohhh....I didn't try that

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I will put 80 and see what the teacher says.....thanks @Mertsj and @mathslover

mathslover (mathslover):

Thanks to mertsj :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I was totally confused on this one....I am so glad Open Study is here

mathslover (mathslover):

Good to hear. Mertsj , you are awesome :)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I agree

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I will close this now.....thanks for everything
