What are the zeros of the polynomial function: f(x) = (x + 3)(x - 1)(x - 5)? Its -3, 1 and 5 right?

OpenStudy (tkhunny):

Correct. Why do you doubt?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

The reason these are the zeros is that if you substitute any one of them where you have "x", then ONE of the factors (each time) will be "0". Does that make sense to you, @jewbitz
