Simplify sin^2 θ(1 – csc^2 θ)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

csc(x) = 1/sin(x) distribute sin^2 θ - sin^2θ*csc^2θ since sin^2θ*csc^2θ = 1 you end up with sin^2 θ - 1 which is equal to -cos^2 θ because sin^2 θ + cos^2 θ = 1 and cos^2 θ = 1 - sin^ θ so the simplified form is: -cos^2 θ

A. 1 B. sin4 θ C. 1 – sin2 θ D. sin2 θ – 1

OpenStudy (jhannybean):

Oh then they don't even want you to simplify it all the way.

silly answer choices..
