Read the following two statements. Then, if possible, use the Law of Detachment to draw a conclusion. Driving is difficult if the weather is stormy. Driving is difficult. A. The weather is stormy. B. If driving is difficult, then the weather is stormy. C. not possible D. The weather is not stormy.

OpenStudy (reemii):

The usual form of the sentence is "If .., then ...". So you have "if the weather is stormy, driving is difficult." If you know that "the weather is stormy", then you conclude that "driving is difficult". But they give the "wrong" part of the sentence. No conclusions can be made.
