Let f(x) = 2x^2 - 3x +4 and g(x) = x + 3. Find f(x) + 3g(x)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Well first the 3g(x) just means oyu multiply everything in g(x) by 3 3(x+3) =3x+9 now f(x)+3(g(x))

OpenStudy (anonymous):

2x^2+13

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the -3x and the 3x cancel out and 4+9=13 and nothing happens to the 2x^2
