OpenStudy (anonymous):

largest degree is 6 and binomial means 2 terms

OpenStudy (anonymous):

how do you know that???

OpenStudy (ja1):

The largest degree aka "exponent/power" is 6 so it is 6

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh ok thanks

OpenStudy (anonymous):

usually we arrange from largest degree left to right and count the terms x^3+x^2+x is a 3rd degree TRInomial cuzz of 3 terms and 3 is largest degree. x^2+3 is a second degree binomial. cuzz of ^2 and 2 terms.

oh ok

can you help me on this too. Choose the polynomial that is written in standard form. −3x5y2 + 4x3y + 10x2 −8xy2 + 4x4y2 + 3x3 x4y2 + 4x3y5 + 10x4 x6y2 + 4x3y8 + 10x7 I just do get Algebra I but any other math i can do lol help me please.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

the second one because the degree has to be in ascending order

OpenStudy (anonymous):

No it is descending order

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I wanna go with the first one cuzz both the x and y exponents descend.
