The domain of the following relation: R: {(6, −2), (1, 2), (−3, −4), (−3, 2)} is {−3, −3, 1, 6} {−4, −2, 2, 2} {−4, −2, 2} {−3, 1, 6}

hartnn (hartnn):

do you know what a domain is ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

noo

hartnn (hartnn):

a domain is just a set of input values! (or x co-ordinates) like input value of (10,20) is just 10 so, what is input value of (6,-2) ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

umm 6? aha

hartnn (hartnn):

correct!

hartnn (hartnn):

what about others ?? (1, 2), (−3, −4), (−3, 2)

OpenStudy (anonymous):

um ugh idkk

hartnn (hartnn):

for (1,2) what is x co-ordinate ?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

idk how to do any of this that's why im asking..

hartnn (hartnn):

|dw:1372849650433:dw| so now, what is x- co-ordinate of (1,2) ?
