What is the midpoint of (–4, 4) and (2, –4)? I know its (-1,0) but how do i find that as the answer ?

the mid point of \[(x _{1},y _{1})\] and \[(x _{2},y _{2})\] is \[(x _{1}-x _{2}/2 , y _{1}-y _{2}/2)\]
