OpenStudy (anonymous):

the radius of hydrogen nucleus is 1.4x10^-15 meters. the entire hydrogen atom has radiuse of .53 A. how many times longer is the atom A. 7.2x10^-16 B 1.93x10^-15 c. 3.8x10^4 D. 7.2x10^4 E. 3.8x10^14

OpenStudy (souvik):

1 Angstrom=10^-10 meters

OpenStudy (anonymous):

huh?

OpenStudy (souvik):

how many times longer is atom=radius of atom/radius of nucleus..

OpenStudy (anonymous):

is it b

OpenStudy (chenping):

A and B are out of qs cuz there's no way the radius of nuclues would be longer than the radius of atom == atom has radius of 5.3exp-11 , nucleus has radius of 1.4exp-15 dun 4get to times 2 cuz it asks how many times longer the atom. (length atm/length nucleus) So I think the ans is :D << if im wrong(no nid times 2, then it shud be C)...
