help pls.. a = bc, solve for c

OpenStudy (anonymous):

We need to get c by itself on one side of the equation. Since on the right side we have b times c, we need to divide both sides by b, which will give us just c on the right and a/b on the left: \[c=a/b\]

sort of like \(12=4\times 3\) and so \(\frac{12}{3}=4\)
