thomaster (thomaster):

OpenStudy (texaschic101):

All done :)

Parth (parthkohli):

mathslover (mathslover):

Added a new question there : What is your good name? Message to all those, who have already filled the survey : Please don't fill the survey again . It will be great if I get exact stats.

OpenStudy (dumbsearch2):

What do you mean "good name"?

mathslover (mathslover):

Just to give some respect to the name of a person, we use "good name" ... You just have to mention your name there. Your name is equivalent to good name. Though, as yoou have already filled the survey, you need not to re-fill it.

OpenStudy (ja1):

aye sire I finished :)

mathslover (mathslover):

Thanks for filling that @JA1

OpenStudy (ja1):

OpenStudy (uri):

OpenStudy (ja1):

I have no n with the tilde guys :P English keyboard....

OpenStudy (uri):

Senor <--You can type this.

OpenStudy (ja1):

Yes but I said senorito as if I was saying senorita but for a guy :P

OpenStudy (uri):

So you were trying to be funny it seems?

OpenStudy (ja1):

Yuppers xD

OpenStudy (uri):

Waaaataaaay Fail <3

OpenStudy (ja1):

:P <3

thomaster (thomaster):

Just press tilde on keyboard and then n

OpenStudy (ja1):

WTF @thomaster I don't get it :(

OpenStudy (uri):

Also what is tilde..?

OpenStudy (ja1):

~

thomaster (thomaster):

Idk but European keyboards work that way. When you press " and a, you get ä

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

You can find the ñ in your character map, install an IME (Input Method Editor) for it, find it in a word processor, use \(\LaTeX\) to do \( \mathrm{\tilde n}\), find a UTF reference and look up character 00F1 to copy and paste it, or go to Wikipedia where you can also copy and paste it. Lots of options if it is not on your keyboard! これは優しいですよ

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

@uri ~ is \(\tilde { } \leftarrow \) Just look at that \(\LaTeX\) to get it.

OpenStudy (e.mccormick):

Oh, and just to be clear, all the ~ are equivalent to each other. They are not equal, but basically the same. If you are unsure about why I say this, don't ask a lexicographer. Ask a math major.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@mathslover what if here more than 1 natural-disaster? Can I mention em all? :D

mathslover (mathslover):

Yes mention them all Machida.

thomaster (thomaster):

@JA1 When you press the " key on your keyboard, does it appear rightaway? or do you need to press space to make it appear? because that's how it works here. When you press ~ key here, it doesn't appear. When you press space it does. Now when you don't press space, but n. The ~ goes above the n to make ñ. Same way works for " and a, ä. Or Ä Ñ è È É ô

OpenStudy (ja1):

Appears right away lol " but I do have to press shift for my keyboard :P
