Which undefined terms are needed to define parallel lines? A. Point, line B. Point, coplanar C. Line, plane D. Coplanar, line

OpenStudy (mathstudent55):

d

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But isn't there only 3 undefined terms line, plane, and point?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

@mathstudent55

Directrix (directrix):

@Ennuis Coplanar is not one of the three undefined terms of Geometry.

Directrix (directrix):

@Ennuis Look in your text and see how parallel lines are defined. Is the word "coplanar" used are perhaps a definition using the word "plane" such as two lines lying in the same plane that do not intersect. Without knowing how your text defines parallel lines, any answer will be a guess.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay. If I've noticed it before, my notes say that parallel lines are two lines that lie within the plane and Never intersect. Would that make the answer C. Since its asking for undefined? @Directrix

Directrix (directrix):

lines, plane --> Assuming whoever wrote the question based the question on your text, then yes, I agree with your answer.

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Okay thanks a bunch.

Directrix (directrix):

Glad to help.
