y=2/3x-1 i have to graph it. is it okay if i turn it to a decimal?

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

it might be easier not to

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

when you graph the slope, you use rise over run

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

your first bullet point would go on -1, because that is your y=intercept

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

then, you would move your pencil two squares up, and three squares to the right (hence the rise over run). Then, once you draw both bullet points, you would put a ruler on the two points and you will have a slope

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

Do you understand? Reply you answer to me @GABY11

OpenStudy (anonymous):

would i have to start on -1? is that what your saying? or just the bullet point itself would be plotted on (-1,0) ? @jamierox4ev3r

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

the bullet point would go on the y axis. here is a pic.|dw:1373600723936:dw|

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

you would start at the circle, then you would go up two and three to the right. Then, you put your ruler on the two points and draw your slope

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

do you understand, or should i draw it out completely?

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

@GABY11

OpenStudy (anonymous):

oh wow, it is easier lol than actually drawing out the whole thing! thank you!

@Jamierox4ev3r

HanAkoSolo (jamierox4ev3r):

haha im glad u get it :)
