10–9 =

OpenStudy (goldphenoix):

What do you think?

OpenStudy (anonymous):

10^-9

OpenStudy (anonymous):

I think 0.0000000001

OpenStudy (unklerhaukus):

i think you have one too many zeros there

OpenStudy (anonymous):

There are supposed to be that many. All the others have almost as many. Its asking my basically to move the decimal point. Rest of answers - 1.000000001 0.0000000001 0.000000001 0.0000001

terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

But of course :) Start with 1.0 and move the decimal points 9 units to the left since it was 10^-9

terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

On the other hand, if it were 10^9 instead, then you move that decimal point 9 units to the right instead ^_^

OpenStudy (anonymous):

But why would i start with 1 instead of 10?

terenzreignz (terenzreignz):

That's just a shortcut :) And we start with 1.0 to make it work So that 10^0 where you move the decimal point 0 units to the left (or right) becomes 1.0 as it should be :D

OpenStudy (anonymous):

Oh i get it now TYVM :D
